What's happening at AA2A this month...

Funding - We’re delighted that AA2A is to continue being funded by Arts Council England from 2023 to 2026. We’re one of only 40 national sector support organisations (now known as IPSOs) covering all the arts, museums and libraries across the country

New intake of Artists - Welcome to our 50+ new AA2A artists (with quite a few re-joining us for a 2nd or even 3rd scheme!) They’re based at 11 host institutions across the country. One of the best parts of our work is to see artists start to upload on the networking area. You can find all the recently uploaded blogs, images and event posts on our Latest Activity page. These give a fascinating insight into ‘process’, showing techniques as well as finished work

AA2A Plus Collections - We’re putting together lists of collections, local to our host institutions which might be of interest to artists and students. We’re hoping to make these lists available to our host institutions in the new year. They’ll include museums, galleries and archives as well as private collections. Our thanks to Gemma Bailey, who’s currently working with us on this

Evaluations - We’ve just updated our evaluation stats for last year and added new feedback from our artists to the ‘Quotes’ page. We’d like to thank all last year’s artists for their comprehensive feedback (96% returns) which helps us monitor and improve our schemes. Also, congrats to Central Lancs and Bucks New Unis who were rated highest by their artists
