It’s been fascinating to follow the Artists and AA2A Student Reps who've blogged about their projects this year. So below we look at three Artist, who’ve updated us regularly with blogs about their ideas, activities and progress.
Pamela Schilderman - De Montfort Uni
Pamela’s blog has tracked her project journey, in particular her experimentation with materials such as glass, copper, silicon, plasticine and wax, and how the process has been supported by DMU technicians and information from the Forensic Biology department. Read more about Pamela's work here
Nigel Morris - Uni of Chester
During his placement Nigel has explored ideas of ‘Distortion’ through paper engineering, laser cutting, sculpture and print. Through his blog Nigel’s asked questions of his work, and the materials and processes he’s explored. Nigel’s work is on show at Oriel Mostyn until 5 May. Read more about Nigel’s work here
Chris Dugrenier - Coventry Uni
In a response to a lack of fixed workspace, Chris explored of the idea of what a studio is and her solution, a mobile workspace. Extending this into an exploration of, and response to, transient spaces across the University. Her blog documents this work. Read more about Chris’ work here
