Project summary:

As a very recent graduate from MA Fine Art, I hope that this AA2A opportunity will enable me to continue to develop my practice with vital access to equipment and library facilities allowing me to develop a methodology discovered during my study and to pursue it in a tangible, easily distributable form.  I intend to use the printmaking facilities to develop a participatory printed publication which will accompany walkers to a site of unusual aesthetic interest whilst walking in Fermynwoods near Corby, Northants.  This will play a major part of a wider, multifaceted project that I have been developing over the past few months.

As an artist my practice covers various forms from Live Art to installation.  I collaborate with several other artists and have created socially engaged projects for a variety of prestigious places including Tate Liverpool, the National Trust and MK Gallery.  I also work as Complementary Education Co-ordinator for Fermywoods Contemporary Art and curate Wild Projects at the Sudborough Green Lodge site.

I have most recently made a series of films challenging perceptions of Time and Event featured in a largescale installation ‘Still Life’.  I intend to continue my studies formally next year at Phd level with practice based research.
