Previous AA2A Artist
For years I have noticed the arrival of plastic that has been caught up in barbed wire, on fences and in trees. Initially I was fascinated but now I see it has steadily got worse.
When an opportunity arose to experiment with video at Cleveland College of Art and Design in Middlesbrough through AA2A scheme, I used plastic as my focus; and combined a bricolage of footage drawn from my home town of Leeds, with that from Middlesbrough and the journey en route.
The scheme has equipped me with new skills in the use of the video camera and editing skills, which has been great, and I have completed a short film as a result. The team at CCAD have been excellent in helping me to achieve this.
