Project summary:

I am a Textiles Designer who creates striking, sculptural, hand-woven pieces predominantly for the fashion market. Colour is integral to my work. Natural and synthetic yarns, simple weave patterns and structures are embellished with beads, feathers, felts, embroidery and semi-precious stones which evoke a by-gone era.

My passion for period costume and my background in film and theatre wardrobe weave seamlessly though my unconventional yet highly sophisticated work; work which I continue to develop through experimentation with yarn manipulation, felting processes, machine embroidery and their effects on hand-woven fabrics.
