Project summary:

Throughout life we try to make sense of the bewildering array of images presented to us, we use our experience coupled with our beliefs to define a feeling of purpose in what we see. Two people can view the same picture in two completely different ways depending on our views about gender, our political beliefs and the way in which we view the past.

By presenting these photographs I am hoping, not to tell the viewer what they should think, but to draw a map to the images that have caught my eye. A picture can say a thousand words; this is something that we have all been told at one time or another but the true beauty of visual information is that it needs no words it can speak to us without getting tied up in the language games.
