At the moment I am interested in capturing the flavor of shopping centers, development sites and industrial estates. People and caricature play an important feature in much of my work and in order to describe the flavor of large panoramic scenes my approach is to represent movement and rhythm with a direct expressionist approach. As an extension of this I have now begun to experiment by incorporating impressions from found objects and I am particularly excited by the potential of printing into plaster and gesso from found objects, collographs and etchings.

This opportunity will enable me to experiment fully with these possibilities: My aim will be to make three large paintings/ relief artworks (2 x 5ft works) that incorporate impressions made into plaster and gesso.
