Project summary:

In 2004 I finished my MA Glass in Sunderland, I was spoiled with the fantastic facilities in this University and the skilled teachers and students working alongside me.

After my MA it was very difficult to find affordable facilities until I got selected for the AA2A programme in the Barnet College in North London. I made use of their glass kiln and used the materials budget to order glass from the Czech Republic.

Both the technique and the type of glass were new to me, but something I wanted to try for a long time now. It worked out well! I finished several pieces (polished them in Sunderland) and was satisfied with the result.

My work is abstract and intense of colour and aims to take you away from the material world and connect to your inner world of feelings, senses and true Being.

I am at the moment in Greece for a period where I am working in Kefalonia in a glass studio on some new works again. It is beautiful to be able to travel, be inspired and be able to create!
