Since graduating as fine artists seven years ago, we have been very active in the community as professional artists.

The nature of our work has now taken us into working with dance, theatre, lighting, set and costume design-areas in which we had little previous experience.

The AA2A course has enabled us to re-visit and enjoy a highly creative and discerning atmosphere and has given us the opportunity to engage with the specialised disciplines that our work now spans.

Some of the work produced at the college has recently been featured in a media-box funded festival held at Arc in Stockton.

‘Young people from Youthspace have been working with mediabytes creative directors Dave Allinson and Michelle Tripp to generate exciting and innovative ways to screen and exhibit media projects’

Perhaps the most significant and direct outcome has been that the extra skills and learning resources made available throughout the course have given us the confidence to launch our own small production co. - ‘Wireframe’

The first production is of our own work ‘Stream’- a Tees Valley based opera to be performed in May 2009 at Arc, Stockton-on- Tees.
