The BA (Hons) Fine Art degree here at UCS deals with a wide range of media approaches across a spectrum of contemporary fine art practice including sculpture, installation, painting, performance, photo media and video. The course aims to build on previous experience and skills, to develop and instill confidence and to develop a strong professional awareness. Students are encouraged to underpin work with thorough research and to realise the value of sound critical and theoretical understanding and how to apply it.
