About me
Self-taught painter who began as a glass designer and stopped off for a career in Animation for a few years on the way. Drawing and mark-making are the key and the challenge is controlling colour and paint to realise a gut feeling and elicit an emotional response. The work is as large as conditions permit, or as small as I can get away with and I try not to be consciously influenced by anything!
I currently teach art, part-time at a local Comprehensive. This allows me to indulge in playing and exploring without having to commit - very liberating.
