News:
Through drawing and printmaking, I am collecting imagery themed around ‘people and the land’, with a result that is historic but also reflective of today’s rural, modernised Itchen valley and surrounding country.
Several drawings have been made on location, two of which are: Workman at Hockley Traffic Lights, Winchester searching for manhole covers in the undergrowth beside the road. Dumper truck operators near Hockley Viaduct, conveying soil from the levelling work of the new pathway by St Catherine’s Hill, improving north/south, south/north links through the City for pedestrians and cyclists.
