About me:

I have been working as a professional artist for 13 years since completing my MA at the Royal College of Art. In this time I have established a reputation for my photographic re-creations of old master prints and paintings set in a contemporary idiom. By meticulously assembling hundreds of photographs using digital software, I form a seamless, painterly story about a city or an event compressed into a single scene, reflecting a social narrative for our times.

I feel at a stage in my career where I would greatly benefit from some time to research and experiment in an academic environment in order to move my ideas forward. I am excited to observe a resurgence of artists working with analogue and digital cross-processes in photography and would like to develop a new body of working involving such experimentation. Access to darkroom facilities and technical expertise at Wimbledon College of Art will be an invaluable opportunity and I would relish the possibility to build a strong dialogue with students, staff and the other AA2A artists.
