I did a BA(Hons) Fine Art at Chelsea College, UAL, in 1998-2001, and an MA Fine Art at Slade, UCL, 2001-2003. Since then I have worked as a lecturer and have made mainly scuptural and installation-based work.

At Ruskin I would like to develop a series of mixed media collages I have made recently, by making animations depicting movement of shapes, colour and compositions as used in these collages. I hope to be able to use a space at the collage to record the animations, using a digital camera, a stand and studio lighting.

Having made mostly sculptural work during the past ten years, working with collage in 2D is fairly new to me. By transferring the idea of collage to another medium (moving images), I hope to learn more about the link between the 3D and 2D work I have produced. This will hopefully help me find out if the collages are works in their own right, and how I want to show them.
