About me:

I am an artist and qualified teacher living and working in the West Midlands. I studied Fine Art to MA level and also completed an MA in Art and Design Histories. Although I am primarily a painter much of this work focussed on the history and ontology of digital media and the integration of computers into the fine art arena. As a painter I am interested in the physicality of materials and the manipulation of the painted surface. Past work has referenced my interest in repetition and reproduction however  it is  the use of print making and photography that underpins current figurative works. These engage with lost identities, collective memory and uncertain moments.
