Anna Mlasowsky

AA2A artist

Brief description: During my time at the University of Sunderland will I make components for a new piece, which will be included in my upcomming solo show at the Factory museum in Boda, Sweden in late 2013. I am using chladni plates to make sound patterns visible on materials. This happens by vibrating plates and sprinkling powder on the surface. The powder forms action specifc patters. I am using glass powder which I fire in the kiln afterwards. Through this the patterns become solid. The aim is to produce a visible sound cloud which will be suspended from the exhibition seiling.
