About me
Hmmm.... I think "intuitive artist photographer" would describe my creative self reasonably well. I used to think I can't draw, pretty much every attempt to express myself that way was a failure. Since I remember, 35mm, made in CCCP (nowadays Russia) cameras and good old, made in Poland Krokus enlarger were in use by various family members. When the last one interested- my older brother, lost interest in b&w photography it was finally my turn to take over The Bathroom (I mean the darkroom).
Now, some 15 years later (during which so much have changed!) I still hold tight my film Nikon FA believing that nothing can replace traditional silver gelatin photographic print.

Nothing is permanent! Changes are exiting and inspiring.

Well, after some time spent in ARU's darkroom and many hours spent thinking of my project I had to acknowledge the fact that I have progressed on my creative path and moved away from the photography. I cannot express myself artistically that way at the moment and have started working with mixed media on paper as well as oil paints. The college senior technician Ian Clifford was very helpful supporting me in my decision. Now, I have a designated space to work in one of the studios and past few weeks have been very creative. I am so grateful for the opportunity to try oil painting. It is a wonderful new experience!
