well, It's been a whirlwind week since being given the studio here and I feel a little bit like a Fresher all over again - the possibilities and resources at Northumbria just seem infinite and with every subsequent induction my ideas grow!
It's going to take a little while to reign them in and focus back on my original intentions (rather than get lost amongst the large format printers, wet dark rooms, woodshops and army of visiting artists & lecturers)...
I've begun the residency with making some post boxes which will be placed throughout the Art Department and wider University... their purpose shall become apparent in the next issue of this blog post...
In the mean time I'm also organising the launch for our second Edition of CANNED Magazine, which is happening at The New Bridge Project this Saturday (The 29th of October) in conjunction with the Open Studios event. For more details see the facebook event here.
I'm also writing a review of the International Print Biennale in Newcastle for All Points North.
